I (Johnovision) started goin' to jolly ol' Tech High a li'l while ago and wound up meetin' Matt G and Ben. I knew Russ from a long time ago, i played on his soccer team and saw him at local shows and stuff.... anywho, so Matt G, me, and Ben were at a Tech soccer game one day, just sorta chillin, and we found out that the three of us each play an instrument and want a band. (Ben asked me about a speed metal band, too bad that didn't work out...) So weeks passed, nothing was goin' on cuz we didn't know who we wanted to play drums, and Ben didn't have his amp yet.
Christmas approached in 2001, and Ben got his amp... we started jammie-ing with Russ on drums... and it sorta clicked. We wrote a few songs about nothing and a few songs about something and that's about it. After a few months, we had some problems with Russ's drumming and uh... we kicked him out. We switched over to Jason "Tower of Power" Bauers. The kid is amazing. But Jason's too good, really. Things werent' working too well... lotsa fights and stupid shit. So I quit. I know, i know... stupid. Either way, we've started up again back with the Goofinator. He's changed a lot and gotten a lot better... so we should be doing pretty well now.
Then Jim joined the band and we became fucking great and also GJW182. hardcore

(SIDE NOTE: "Go Jon Wronski!!!" is what we yell to the drummer in band at school, cuz his name is Jon Wronski and he needs to go and stuff.) |
